The Campbeltown Malts festival takes place in May each year and is a celebration of all that is unique and special surrounding Campbeltown and it's whisky making heritage.
To celebrate the Campbeltown Malts Festival 2021, we have created a 10 year old, unpeated single malt, finished in first fill Bordeaux red wine casks.
Bottled at 56.1%, this single malt combines the Glen Scotia distillery character of maritime influence, fruity notes with a hint of spice, married with succulent red berries, citrus and sweet honey.
Using a series of exclusively unpeated distillation from 2009 - 2011, the 2021 release was matured in first fill bourbon barrels ensuring a spirit that truly reflects the Glen Scotia Distillery character.
These casks have been vatted together before finishing in first fill Bordeaux red wine casks, from the Medoc region, for a period of 5 months under the watchful eye of our Master Blender. Once the perfect balance is achieved between the red fruits from the wine casks and the classic fruit, spice and maritime notes of the Glen Scotia spirit was reached, the spirit was then married into refill bourbon barrels before bottling at cask strength, 56.1% ABV.

Tracking information is provided via email once the order has been packaged. Customers are responsible to provide accurate information and to track and plan for product arrival. Adult signature required.
